Facial Rejuvenation Cupping
I am constantly looking for more new ways to address the same types of problems. The same answer does not always work for everyone. Sometimes you need to take a different approach. I am always looking at things from a different angle.
I have a lot people come to me who often suffer from headaches and migraines. Often, headaches come from neck, shoulder, and jaw tension or pain. Migraines are tricky, but a lot of times are triggered from tension headaches.
Throughout my practice, I have come to learn that sinus pain and pressure often contributes to headaches and therefore migraines. When someone has a headache, it is frequently a compounded problem. Their headache is likely coming from more than one area, including neck, shoulders, jaw, and sinuses.
The work that I do is already great for sinus pain and pressure. Shoulder and neck pain is my specialty. I have had a lot of positive results treating TMJ dysfunction.
This is all fine and good, but I wanted to be able to treat headaches, migraines, sinus pain and pressure, and jaw pain even more effectively. That is the reason that I started providing Facial Rejuvenation Cupping.
Facial Rejuvenation Cupping has many therapeutic benefits, as well as cosmetic benefits. I never saw myself providing anything cosmetic, but that just turned out to be an added bonus. Plus, I had already been providing cosmetic benefits with Cellulite Reduction Cupping. So, the many benefits just continue to snowball.
Benefits of Facial Rejuvenation Cupping:
Helps relieve headache pain
Helps relieve migraine pain
Helps relieve sinus pain and pressure
Helps relieve jaw pain
Clears and shrinks pores
Skin toning and smoothing
What to expect:
Of course, you will not have big circle red marks on your face from this this treatment.
Prior to receiving a Facial Rejuvenation Cupping treatment, all makeup needs to be removed and the face freshly washed.
A lot of coconut oil is applied to the face and small cups are suctioned to the face and continually moved around. The cups are moved strategically for excellent lymph drainage, as well as a great face lifting effect.
Lymph is pulled from the face and all the way down the front of the neck.
The cups are small and the amount of suction applied is even smaller.
This is actually a quite relaxing form of treatment with similarities to a facial. It is the closest that you will receive to a spa treatment at Structure Therapy.
Wrinkles and fine lines are smoothed out little by little.
Bags under the eyes can be minimized.
Crow’s feet do not go away, but the depth of some of the lines can lessened and minimized.
With regular treatments, it is possible to enhance the lips up to 33%.
Since the treatment clears and shrinks the pores, as well as boosts the collagen, this is an amazing treatment for the skin.
Facial Rejuvenation Cupping is a cumulative treatment. What this means is that the results will continue to get better with each treatment. The effects of one treatment usually last up to about a month. If you receive three treatments over the course of a week, the effects can last up to 3 months.
Below is an example of before and after 4 separate Facial Rejuvenation Cupping sessions. Notice how the cosmetic results improve with each treatment?
This particular client wanted to experience Facial Rejuvenation Cupping once before deciding to do 3 sessions in a weeks time. There was a week gap between session 1 and session 2. Sessions 2-4 were all within the period of a week, as is recommended for best results.
Before Session 1 After Session 1
Before Session 2 After Session 2
Before Session 3 After Session 3
Before Session 4 After Session 4
Therapeutic benefits for this client: She struggled with constant headaches, sinus pain and pressure, and jaw pain. Her jaw would constantly click because of her tightness. She noted a significant improvement in all of the above listed symptoms and was very happy with the results. She experiences less jaw pain, less jaw clicking, less headaches, and less sinus pain and pressure. She also noted that she felt like her sinuses would clear more regularly and more effectively.
Cosmetic benefits for this client: Notice the fine lines in the forehead how they are basically gone after the first session. You can tell visually that her cheeks are lifted after each treatment. She noted much smoother skin after all treatments and told me that she stopped wearing makeup because her face and skin felt great. The depth of the lines under her eyes drastically improves after just a couple of sessions. You can tell the skin looks younger, clearer, and smoother. Her lips are fuller, even though that is not completely visible because she is making a slightly different face in each picture.
She stated to me that the therapeutic and cosmetic benefits were totally worth what she paid for each treatment and she cannot wait to have it done again.
Is Facial Rejuvenation Cupping right for you?
Most people are satisfied with the results of Facial Rejuvenation Cupping. The benefits and potential side effects will be thoroughly discussed prior to treatment.
It is not my practice to intentionally mark or bruise any of my clients.
There is a slight possibility for a small amount of breaking up of the blood vessels beneath the skin (petechiae) and or bruising with this treatment. Many factors affect the chances of this happening, however. This is something that usually is easily covered up with make-up and does not last longer than a couple of days. This is more likely to happen when the client has certain skin conditions, or is on certain medications that can affect this form of treatment. If any kind of marking does occur, usually it is after the first treatment. The chance of any kind of marking diminishes more and more after each session.
People with severe TMJ dysfunction usually have very tight jaw muscles and this increases the possibility of any kind of marking with this treatment around the jawline. However, this also increases the chance for jaw pain relief from Facial Rejuvenation Cupping.
Since cupping is great for breaking up old scar tissue, I have had some instances where irritation is left on the skin where the cups broke up scar tissue from an old injury. In the end, this is better for the skin and surrounding soft tissue.
Age and sex also play a part in how a person responds to this treatment. Usually, when we get older our skin can be bruised more easily. Men have more facial hair than women and this messes with the friction of the cups which can contribute to bruising.
